With the increasing popularity of the Internet, almost all kinds of businesses are ramping up their online presences. From banks, to department stores, to retailers and service providers, the Internet is fast becoming a potent venue for such operations.
And why so? Because more and more people are recognizing the importance of the medium and its overall functionality. Businesses are truly aiming to underpin that migration from the conventional transactions to the online operations.
However, making effective online businesses is still one challenge most online businesses must overcome. Through the years, there are millions of traditional businesses that have established their online operations.
Imagine that, millions of competing Web sites, in more languages other the basic English and Mandarin. An online business must really strive hard to make the content of its sites truly competitive.
Moreover, adding to the problem is that online content writing is one particular form of copywriting that is not formally taught in school. That means, the copywriters must rely particularly on their copywriting skills and must strive to come up with effective techniques.
To answer that problem, and to cater to many aspiring copywriters around the Internet, several online businesses are focusing on Internet coaching.
Internet coaching
Internet coaching is almost like a form of crash courses offered by online education providers. Internet coaching sites are aimed at teaching basic skills to copywriters that would be of great help in creating copies meant to sell.
Internet coaching web sites have hired several professionals and experts in the online marketing sector. Thus, you would be surprised that a well-known professor from a world-renowned university is offering Internet coaching crash courses and modules online.
There are also a rising number of Internet coaching Web sites today. The competition gets more intense each day as more and more aspiring copywriters swoon to take online writing opportunities.
It is estimated that only about 2%of overall online businesses actually sell merchandise to online consumers. That means, the current pool of online copywriters are not successful in persuading online readers to purchase online products.
That calls for more efforts and further investment, both for the online business owner and the online copywriter. It is that particular problem that Internet coaching Web sites are aiming to provide solutions to.
The investment in hiring the services of online coaching sites are proven to be effective in boosting an aspiring copywriter’s skills to persuade potential product purchasers.
Finding the best Internet coaching site
Because there are more existing Internet coaching sites, you can be sure of their competitiveness.
In terms of effectiveness, they are truly striving to beat competition. Thus they are all offering competitive packages that are priced as competitive as ever.
Gone are the days when one has to spend a hefty amount of money just to hire an Internet coach. Now, people can shop around and try comparing prices before actually hiring the services of an Internet coaching Web site.
However, as a potential consumer of such services, you must make sure you tap the services of the best Internet coaching services provider. And by the word best, you must mean those that are reliable and proven to yield results, as well as having a reasonable tag price.
Experts advise that before embarking on Internet coaching programs, you must make sure that the services are specific to your specified needs. For example, if you are aiming to write about online software marketing, the program must be specific to online software marketing.
Online marketing would still be too broad a concept for the subject of online software marketing.
Advice and peer recommendations would also help you tap the best Internet coaching services provider. Though, some people might testify about the usefulness of one provider, however, some people would not find the program best for them. So be analytical.
The process of Internet coaching
Internet coaching is a very complicated process. It can be done online or some books or modules can be ordered online and shipped to the address of the customer.
Like many distance education programs, some Internet coaching sites also offer online teaching modes. Through that, a student can log online and chat with a professor. Exams are given impromptu and inquiries can be abruptly and conveniently be held.
There are a number of Internet coaching sites abounding nowadays. Choose your preferred program and provider very carefully.

These days, the internet seems to be the source for nearly everything. From fitness and diets to love relationships to gardening to buying a car, you’ll find all sorts of information online that’s available with a few simple clicks. Yup, internet coaching is a strong force online and you could be part of it.
If you feel it in your bones that you were meant to share what you know online, you’ll need to know if it’s right for you. And if it is, you might want to know how to do it. Here are a few tips to point you in the right direction:
Ask yourself…
Do I have the expertise? Just because you studied psychology in high school doesn’t mean you’re qualified to coach. You’ll need to have enough skills and experience in your chosen field to actually do it. You don’t necessarily need to have a master’s degree, but higher qualifications are an asset and will assure your potential students (and clients) that they are in good hands.
Do I have the skills? Coaching isn’t just about telling someone what to do. It’s about providing a nourishing environment for further learning and development for your clients. It’s about knowing what to say at a particular moment and avoiding unnecessary interaction. It’s about knowing what the best avenues for communications are and when to use them to maximize your client’s learning.
Do I have the patience? If you have a short fuse, you might want to reconsider. Your clients are not perfect individuals. Otherwise, they would not have come to you. There will be times that you’ll fail in certain aspects, or encounter some setbacks. If you understand what it takes, it will save you a lot of frustration and wasted effort.
Do I have the interest? If you’re only in it for the money and the popularity, don’t. Coaching must be something you truly like in order for it to work. If you don’t like it, you won’t make it as enjoyable and as progressive as it ought to be.
Once you’ve decided that coaching is for you, then examine what your skills are and where your strengths lie. Then, decide on one area and build your reputation from there. Some of the most common internet coaching topics are:
Business skills
From selling to marketing to customer service, you can teach sales and marketing professionals who want to become better at their jobs.
Mindful coaches
Inspiration is key to everything, so it should not be a surprise that this is a flourishing internet coaching area. Build a site with useful content on self-improvement through better self-image.
Fitness and Sports
You don’t have to limit yourself with online video clips of aerobic exercises just to become a fitness and sports coach. If you can write great content, build a site with tips, guides and useful information on proper diet, exercises, equipment and health news. You could even team up with a trusted manufacturer or provider and link up for better exposure.
Promote learning
Education should never stop at college. You can coach students through your site and you don’t even have to limit yourself with your neighborhood. Open your site to students around the world who don’t have time to take classroom sessions. You’ll be amazed at the mutual learning this will give you.
Coach the coaches
Think the experts don’t need improvement? Of course they do! How else can they assure up-to-date information and coaching styles if they stay stuck in one place? If you’ve had enough experience and have built enough reputation in your chosen community well enough to be believable and have enough name recall, you can offer your services to fellow coaches.
You can also make use of your site to exchange info and tips, turning your site to a place in the internet for coaches to interact and share their knowledge.
Tips to expand your internet coaching activities
Give talks for free. Sometimes, you’ll need to give something away for free just to get a leg in. Advertise your free services online and give talks at schools, communities and small conventions. The more you get yourself in the news, the more you gain an audience. Plus, the experience is also an opportunity for learning.
Promote yourself. When you’re just starting out, you might need to promote your coaching services yourself. Come up with copies for your site and your qualifications, post ads or submit articles with links to your site. Nobody else will do it for you, so when you have the chance, promote, promote, promote.
Send newsletters. Another way of gaining exposure and improving your writing is to create your own newsletters. This way, you will maintain a connection with your readers and clients and even expose yourself to other potential clients as well.
Learn more. Experts do need to learn and you’re not an exception. Getting better is a goal you work on and once you’ve reached a high, consider it a plateau and reach further. Become the best internet coach there is by opening your mind to learning opportunities not only from your fellow coaches, consultants and teachers, but from your students as well.

Internet entrepreneurs can find a lot of business tips on the Internet…sometimes too much. The advice is often conflicting, or too general to be of any real use.
Anyone who’s ever really tried to run a company knows that decisions have to be made on a case-to-case basis. What works for one person won’t necessarily work for another. You have different industries, different markets, different competitors, different resources.
Sometimes you read the articles on the web and think,
“Yeah, right, will that really work for me?”
It’s not a light decision to make, considering that your entire business (and this month’s rent!) is riding on your shoulders. You may have invested your life savings, and let’s not forget your employees–and the paychecks they depend on you to provide.
Get a Business Mentor!
Don’t gamble your business on a vague tip. You need a real mentor, someone who has the experience, the skills, and the attention to look at your particular business needs and dispense the appropriate advice.
This business mentor can answer your questions, point you towards the right path, and generally help you become more successful as an Internet entrepreneur.
I’ve personally been working with my Marketing Coach, Terry Dean to help build successful businesses online including my most recent project, SonomaCountyAirport.com. We met at a seminar in Las Vegas and it’s now a year and a half I’ve been in his coaching program. I call him a “godsend.”
What are the Qualities of a Good Mentor?
Almost anyone can put up a website and call himself a business mentor. I can say I’ve worked with the worst (causing many headaches, lost time and money drained) AND the best. There are certain qualities to look for in a good coach before you choose the one that is right for YOU.
1. Look for Knowledge. Do they know what they’re doing? How do they answer questions? What examples do they give? Has your mentor “been there, done that”? Make sure your coach has succeeded in what they will be teaching you..
2. Look for Honesty. Some coaches are full of fluff, spinning words just so you hear what you want to hear. You don’t need someone to pat you on the shoulder–you need someone who’s straightforward, even brutally honest, because they are trying to help you in the long run.
3. Look for Dependability. How long does it take for them to reply to your emails? My coach, for instance follows up within 24 hours, if not a few hours to all my questions.
4. Look for Relevance. Does the information really help you, or does it sound like it was pulled out of any old textbook just so they can say they fulfilled your part of the bargain? Make sure the program is structured, up to date, and your coach really personally helps you at each step.
5. Look for Service. Do they personally attend to you, or do they send their assistant? You’re paying for their know-how, not a chance to become best friends with their secretary. You’ll want to find someone that not only personally helps you–answering emails, talking over the phone every month–but truly makes you feel that your coach is concerned about the progress of your business.
Investing in a Coach Makes Good Business Sense!
Internet business coaches may be one of the best investments you can make in your business.
For example, a mentor can help you stay competitive without having to drop your prices–by helping you create a unique customer focus, where you are seen as the only option in your niche.
Your coach can also help you maximize your marketing budget (without having to spend anything more on advertising!) and improve your lead generation and conversion rates.
If you’re at a low point where you feel your business isn’t going anywhere–or is even at the brink of closing down–Internet coaches can point out hidden opportunities and cost-effective business strategies.
And if you’re burnt out, your coach can even help you in your personal life so you can do more with less time including spending time with your family, and taking care of yourself.
How can I get an Internet Coach?
Terry Dean is my Internet business coach. If you are lucky enough to work with him I’d recommend him in a heartbeat.
You can contact him at: (765) 332-2509 to find out more or visit http://www.myownwebmentor.com/ for more details.
I’m sure there are other coaches out there that meet the above qualifications (make sure to check with them), but I can only speak from personal experience about my own.
Good luck!

Look anywhere on the internet and you will find someone who calls themselves a coach. You will see such title as Network Marketing Coach, Professional Success Coach, Internet Marketing Mentor.
So What is the Difference Between Coaching & Mentoring?
The coach teaches you how to develop the skills you need for your industry or a specific task. The coach helps to improve the student’s performance. Coaching often is for a short period. Once the task is learned, often the coaching ends.
Mentoring is developing a long relationship over a period of time. The mentor helps the mentee to see the issues that are impacting his or her success. Mentoring involves developing for the future as well.
So Do You Need One or the Other?
You need both. A coach can teach you and share tips about Internet Marketing and Social Media and virtually help you shave off 18 -24 months of your learning time.
A mentor can help you to see your impact over time. Often times, the relationship starts off as coaching but develops into a mentor/mentee experience.
So let me give you the tips to make sure you partner with a great coach.
Qualities you should be looking for:
1. The coach is knowledgeable and can find the answer if they do not have the answer handy.
2. The coach is resourceful. The coach has tools and or resources to help you get started or point you in the right direction.
3. The coach is available and returns your phone calls. Be reasonable and do not waste his or her time.
4. The coach has a coach/mentor. Any great coach will tell you that he or she learned from someone else.
At the end of the day, a coach or mentor means nothing if you don’t have the sheer determination to do what it takes to get to the finish line. Both can give you a blueprint, share tips and maybe give you the occasional pep talk but it will be YOU that will have to put your butt in gear and make it happen.
My challenge to my readers and to myself is to live on purpose and make it happen. Take it brick by brick to build the business you desire. Remember as you are building your business you also need a personal development plan (PDP). I will cover that in another article.
Till the next time….Live on Purpose and Make it Happen

Many new online entrepreneurs can really benefit from internet coaching to help them develop the skills necessary for success. But, before you go out and hire any random coach, there are a few important factors to consider. What activities do you want to learn, how much instruction do you really need, and what kind of instruction do you feel is appropriate for you given your current skill set, and also the all important question of how much do you want to spend?
Internet coaching comes in a variety of different forms. They can range all the way from pre-recorded trainings all the way to personal one on one assistance. You can have people dedicate time to you and tailor a detailed specific plan given your needs. If you need specific tasks and instructions, this may be the best bet for you, but these plans are usually pretty expensive. However, if you are someone who can learn on their own and needs more broad training recorded online training courses may be a better fit for you… and they cost a heck of a lot less!
Once you’ve decided what type of plan you want, you need to determine who you are going to work with. Here are 4 quick things to look for from whomever you choose to provide your internet coaching:
1. Look for Knowledge. Do they know what they’re talking about? What questions have you seen them answer on their website? What examples do they give that show prior success? Make sure your coach has succeeded in what they will be teaching you…
2. Look for Honesty. Some coaches are full of hype and fluff, saying or writing anything they think you want to hear just to get your money. You don’t need someone to give you the thumbs up– you need someone who’s straightforward, and brutally honest, because in the long run, that will help.
3. Look for someone who is dependable. How long does it take them to reply to blog posts? How long does it take them to respond to your emails before you hire them? If it’s more than 24 hours, look elsewhere.
4. Look for Relevance. Do they provide information that can really help you? Or does it sound like it was just regurgitated from an old textbook? The net is always evolving, so make sure the internet coaching they provide is based on today’s environment.
Once you’ve chosen your internet coaching provider make sure to follow through. All the coaching and training in the world won’t help you if you don’t take action! For more information on how internet coaching helped me create a consistent and steady lead flow, follow the instructions below.

Online business coach is just the latest buzz word that is going around the internet. When I was younger a coach is someone who you would assume led a sports team of some kind. These days the term coach can mean anything. If you are struggling with leading a healthy life then a life coach would be someone that can help you. Need to loose a few pounds than look for a weight loss coach. So now the latest is getting an online business coach. This will be a very good and seasoned internet marketer that fully and truly understands how to create a profitable internet business.
Do not think that you don’t need a website because you have a physical brick and mortar business. Many customers use the internet first to find the product or service their seeking for. Then use this information to pin point the exact location they need call or visit.
Could you imagine the Atlanta Falcons without a Head Coach? You see everyone need some help to get something working and an Online business coach is no different. But maybe you are not quite sure why you need a coach in the first place. Here is some of the ways you can be helped
1. Develop an Online Web Plan: Do you use Facebook, Twitter, or any other social media web sites? Currently social media is extremely hot. This is probably one of the most important tasks you need to establish when building your online brand.
2. Search Engine Optimization: Just because you build it don’t always mean they will come. This may work offline, but it just doesn’t work online. There are numerous ways to get your website shown to hungry buyers. The trick is getting them to visit your site rather than a competitor.
3. Website Development: Many business owners understand they need a website created, but are you using it to maximize your potential? There is so many things you can do with a website. Probably the biggest mistake I see businesses use their online, is just using it as an online version of a brochure.
4. Online Sales Process: Are you correctly integrating your sales process into your existing website? Are you correctly gathering leads and turning them into customers? What about your existing customer database?
You basically need help in developing an online blueprint. Their is well over billions of different website, but their is still a way for any business to gain foot into all that clutter. As long as you can clear pin point directions, there is nothing stopping you from having a successful web footprint.

When we were young we had tutors or coaches for areas where we need help on. Athletes get coaches so they can improve their skills. Do you know there is such a thing as an internet coach? An internet coach helps a person to use the internet more effectively and efficiently. What areas of the World Wide Web he needs help on depends on what he wants and needs.

As simple as these are to some, there are still others who need help. This is why they exist to be able to help people who need coaching on how to use the email, use different browsers and work their way around it, search for the information that you need, make use of links, how to shop online, how to have your own and manage and own a website.
Actually, even those who make use of the internet daily know that they still have so much to learn when it comes to using the internet efficiently. What is the secret of the ‘Big Dogs’ on the Internet? They had a mentor. Yes, it’s that simple. Having a mentor can really transform your business, as long you choose the right one for you. No matter your level of experience on the Internet, having a mentor who has done what you want to achieve can only help you achieve your goals faster.
The first thing in choosing an Internet marketing coaching program is to check the credentials of the marketer doing the program. Does he earn the kind of money you want to earn? Has he worked with some of the top marketers in the game? (By the way, a great joint venture marketer and coach is Reed Floren, you can check him out by Googling his name)
Next, you need to know exactly what you get with the coaching. Will you be having telephone or email coaching? Will there a forum where you can chat with other program participants? Will there be any teleseminars? Will there be live coaching? Find out exactly what the coaching program entails, and decide if it’s suitable for you. For example, you may not like speaking on the phone, therefore you would prefer email coaching.
Bear in mind that you’ll get what you pay for in an Internet coaching program. Some of the best marketers often charge a premium rate for their services, because their knowledge is priceless. I’ve had the privilege of gaining access to these secrets; you can check out my other articles or my free report to learn more.
